Senior SCADA Systems Engineer The Senior SCADA Systems Engineer (SSSE) will develop software applications, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, for OBG's manufacturing, water and energy businesses. The SSSE must have a strong background and current skills in SCADA application development and related technologies. Project work will involve all activities from requirements definition through acceptance testing and commissioning. The SSSE will also provide input to proposals and be expected to create documentation to support customer operations and maintenance teams.   The SSSE must be able to work cross-functionally, taking responsibility for completion of assigned project tasks within schedule and budget, while collaborating with others to assure overall project success. Some work will be performed in an office environment, but the SSSE must be able to travel occasionally to customer sites for meetings with stakeholders and to implement solutions on the floor. Primary responsibilities include: SCADA Systems design and programming: Hands-on design from initial information gathering through final implementation Programming of Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) on multiple platforms including Rockwell, Ignition, iFix, Wonderware, etc.  Design and implementation of SQL databases to support industrial data collection. Design and configuration of industrial ethernet networks and tie-ins to corporate plant networks. Interconnection of SCADA platforms to cloud networks, MES platforms, and recipe management systems Design of production reports and trending analysis tools.   Specification, procurement, and configuration of servers to support critical industrial processes. Design and configuration of remote access systems, including cellular modems.     Start-up: Lead the start-up, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing of systems both locally and at customer sites and mentor/train junior engineers to perform these functions Minor program changes and troubleshooting of communication issues between Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and SCADA systems.   Acts as a leader to support and promote department standards for design and programming. As appropriate, works to improve existing standards. Regularly updates the SCADA portion of project plans. Works proactively with Project Managers to address issues related to project schedule, budget, or scope and develop appropriate solutions.  Responsible for the financial performance of project budgets. Develop working relationship with other OBG divisions and disciplines Acts as a leader in implementing and promoting health and safety requirements and guidance. Coordinates safe performance of work and appropriate safety training of the team. Following the Firm's Safety Leadership Rules of Engagement, creates an environment to enhance a safety culture. Maintain a professional presentation at all times, especially with clients. Skills & Qualifications: B.S. in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred). Years of experience may offset educational requirements 5+ years of experience in SCADA system integration. Advanced knowledge and programming experience on multiple SCADA platforms such as Rockwell, Ignition, iFix, Wonderware, etc.  Experience designing and configuring industrial networking systems and related hardware.    Demonstrated experience with SQL database design and implementation Demonstrated experience integrating SCADA systems to MES platforms, recipe management systems, cloud networks, etc.    Experience in basic PLC programming is a plus. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
