CETS Field Engineer

This is a field engineering Foreign Service assignment to support a Lockheed Martin reconnaissance system for OCONUS deployments. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and resolving technical and operational issues with a variety of electronic and mechanical equipment including airborne ground moving target indication (GMTI) and synthetic aperture imaging radar systems, computer networks and associated support equipment. The Field Engineer conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. The individual selected must interface with customer representatives to provide information back to the Lockheed Martin depot facility. The individual must possess excellent communication skills for interpreting technical problems and describing problems and solutions to the customer and to other Lockheed Martin employees. The position is responsible for the generation of status reports, maintenance of action item logs, field question forms and coordination of part and assembly shipments to the Contractor?s Depot. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and MathWorks ? MATLAB tools used for reporting purposes is required. Knowledge of the UNIX operating system is required. The candidate shall preferably have experience in a hardware field engineering and support environment. Experience in the operation and maintenance of airborne radar systems is a strong plus. This position requires Computing Technology Association (CompTIA) information assurance professional certifications. A candidate with active CompTIA certifications in CASP/CISSP and Linux+ is a strong plus.

Basic Qualifications
The CETS field engineer is required to have strong demonstrated skills in:
Ability to work independently and maintain, troubleshoot electronic equipment. Maintain, troubleshoot mechanical equipment. Mission Planning Capability to train/brief customers and users. Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
Desired skills
Knowledge of airborne ground moving target indication and imaging radar systems and related equipment. System administration skills and knowledge of the UNIX operating system. Familiarity with radar image data and MATLAB software tools.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
