Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representative We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for our established client in the Liverpool, NY area.
A Customer Service Representative will be taking inbound telephone calls regarding dental benefits and claims possibly including medical calls.
The individual must maintain a high level of composure, professionalism and politeness with all callers as some can be difficult and they must be able to "put themselves in the shoes" of the callers.
The individual would be wearing a headset while taking calls and working on a PC for the entire day.
It is fast paced and can be one call after another the entire day.
Other key duties of the Customer Service Representative will include:
Meets set statistical performance measures such as length of each call and daily call volumeActs as a liaison between customers, internal departments, vendors, and business associatesAssists with the training of other team members Participates in ongoing training to further knowledge of regulations, software systems, policies and procedures, and develop skills to accurately fulfill requirements of the jobAdheres to all Customer Service policies and procedures.
Consistently demonstrates high standards of integrity by supporting the Company's mission and values and adhering to the Corporate Code of ConductMaintains high regard for customer privacy in accordance with the corporate privacy policies and proceduresRegular and reliable attendance is expected and required Performs other functions as assigned by management Requirements for the Customer Service Representative role will include:
Successful completion of the Customer Service Training Program Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracyExcellent oral, written, and listening skills Capability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner Ability to respond to all inquiries in a calm, polite, professional manner Work occasional overtime as required to meet business needs Minimum Qualifications:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
