Production Supervisor (3rd shift)
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor for our client located East of Syracuse, NY. As a Production Supervisor, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that production quality and safety standards are met during off shifts.
Duties of the Production Supervisor will include:
Ensuring that each employee receives the training required to perform their job safely and department equipment is properly maintained
Supervise the coordination and direction of daily functions for all off shift areas
Investigate any issues encountered in producing the product, sequence of operations, or in maintaining equipment and determine changes required to eliminate or minimize them
Work closely with designers and others to develop new equipment, purchases and methods to improve efficiency of operations and quality of the product
Continual employee development, training, and cross training, of new and existing employees
Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience OR an AAS degree and 5
years of related experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing or production environment
Mechanical & electrical basic knowledge
