As a Permanent Project Manager in the Construction industry, you will be at the heart of our operations, overseeing and coordinating a wide range of construction projects.
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding team, where you will play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors including commercial, hospital, college, university, and government.
Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1.
Overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects from start to finish.
2.
Developing detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
3.
Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
4.
Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
5.
Effectively communicating project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
6.
Identifying and managing project risks, and proposing solutions where necessary to keep projects on track.
7.
Reviewing the project schedule with senior management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities.
8.
Conducting project post-mortems and creating a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1.
A minimum of 3
years of proven working experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
2.
Demonstrated experience managing construction projects in the commercial, hospital, college, university, and government sectors.
3.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, material, and project management principles.
4.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
5.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think strategically and make sound decisions quickly.
7.
A bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8.
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
