The Product Line SE Baseline Manager has responsibility for consistency of the systems engineering design baseline across all variants of the AN/TPQ-53 Product Line. The SE Baseline Manager provides oversight and guidance to the systems engineering team in areas related to SE baseline management, ensures adherence to established processes, engages in reviews of baseline changes and is a key participant in planning and execution of program scope related to baseline management activities. In addition, the candidate will also perform System Engineering responsibilities on a TPQ-53 program.
Responsibilities:
The Product Line SE Baseline Manager has responsibility for consistency of the systems engineering design baseline across all variants of the AN/TPQ-53 Product Line. The SE Baseline Manager provides oversight and guidance to the systems engineering team in areas related to SE baseline management, ensures adherence to established processes, engages in reviews of baseline changes and is a key participant in planning and execution of program scope related to baseline management activities.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Q-53 Lead Systems Engineers to develop, mature and evolve product line approaches for systems engineering baseline management. Coordinate with Systems Engineering Leadership in establishing the vision for the integration of Product Line Engineering tools and implementing processes to achieve these and further product line DX capabilities. Engage with program specific scrum teams responsible for planning and execution of scope associated with SE baseline management. Review/support the planning of SE baseline management scope across Q-53 programs to ensure consistency across the product line. Participate as a required reviewer for the development and technical review of changes for:
- Requirements - Interface documentation - SSDD - Other SE artifacts Participate in decisions on variant applicability for changes to SE artifacts and ensure documentation is updated for the applicable baselines. Seek synergies across programs for implementation of changes to artifacts to increase efficiency and reduce overhead. Participation in Weekly Q53 Engineering PR and ECP Review Meetings Participation in Cross Program PR/Bug Review Rhythm Meetings Participation in meetings and reviews related to systems engineering design and baseline management Interact with PdM M2S2 Requirements POC to address issues related to baseline management. Represent SE for inputs/changes to program processes and associated documentation. Determine potential impacts/changes to the Systems Engineering Management Plan and Requirements Management Process to stay up to date and in alignment with program specific processes and RMS policies/procedures. Support continual improvement of baseline management processes to achieve improved productivity. Investigate and implement strategies that support robust management of many baselines and promotes sharing and reuse between baselines. Coordinate with SE function to determine insertion points for process improvements related to Digital Design and Model Based Development. Provide oversight and coordination for updates to product line artifacts such as system budgets (weight, power, cooling, etc.) Maintain the SE Artifacts Matrix and specification trees by variant. Serve as primary RI for developing tools/approached in support of collection of SE Dashboard Metrics on a monthly basis. Support SE Senior Manager assessment and in depth reviews as needed. Support proposal development and costing of systems engineering scope for Q-53 programs and future opportunities. Basic
Qualifications:
- Experience with DOORS - Strong communication skills, both written and oral - Experience in systems architecture and design - Experience working withinternal customers - Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of professional experience or Mastersdegree Desired Skills:

In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $79,300 - $132,100 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
